Pokdarwis Bamdi (Bamdi Tourism Awareness Group) is a community-based tourism organization initiated by the youth of Kayerepop Village, South Misool District, Raja Ampat Regency, with strong support from local leaders and traditional elders. The community was founded from the collective awareness of young people who realized the importance of protecting and developing their village’s natural and cultural heritage. The name “Bamdi” comes from a local expression that reflects the spirit of togetherness, mutual cooperation, and love for the homeland.
