Goa Keramat (Sacred Cave), located in the Harapan Jaya zone of Misool Timur, invites visitors into a shaded chamber carved in limestone, partially flooded by tidal waters. After a brief trek inland from the shore, the cave entrance reveals jagged rock ceilings and shafts of light filtering through fissures. Inside, reflections shimmer on water, and stalactites or rock formations may adorn the interior. The cave resonates with local spiritual or traditional meanings (hence “keramat” = sacred), and it offers a contemplative space removed from sunlight and sea. Adventurous explorers might wade or swim into inner corridors (if safe), discovering hidden water chambers or niches. The atmosphere is cool, silent, and mysterious — a world apart from sunlit reefs.
