Dapunlol Peak Outlook: Panorama of Misool

Perched above the Usaha Jaya region in eastern Misool, Dapunlol (also locally linked with the name “Harfat” or “Love Peak”) offers sweeping views across the archipelago’s karst islets, lagoons, and coral waters. Many travelers hike a short but steep path to reach the summit, where a viewpoint reveals an expansive canvas of islands and sea.  At sunrise or late afternoon, the light bathes the landscape in warm hues, accentuating ridgelines and lagoons far below. This spot is especially favored for capturing panoramic photos or simply sitting in quiet awe of Misool’s scale. Because the path can be rugged or have deteriorating boardwalks, caution is advised — but the payoff is unmatched perspective across the hidden southern realms of Raja Ampat.
